Polaroid CandyPlay 3D Pen is the world’s first 3D pen that allows you to draw edible candies. No, we are not kidding.
Just like a 3D pen, this device allows you to draw three-dimensional objects. But instead of plastic, it oozes out sticky candy.
Each pen comes with four candy cartridges that store edible printing material that allows you to choose a flavor from a selection of six different sugar-free flavors–––strawberry, orange, apple, grape, lemon, and cola.
The pen is damn easy to use. You don’t need software or anything, just plug it in, wait for a LED light to tell you that the candy is warm and ready to use. Then press the start button to allow the candy to flow and start drawing.
Polaroid suggests you draw on greaseproof paper or baking paper. And once the candy dries up a little, you can sculpt it into anything you like.
Polaroid even provides you a selection of design templates to give you some inspiration and get you started. Simply trace over them to create candy flowers, leaves, hats, and more.
And once you’re used to the pen, there’s a 3D candy house challenge for you. That looks like a sweet challenge!
