A security video from a woman’s home shows what she believes to be a ‘baby dinosaur’ running through her garden in Florida, leaving social media users perplexed.
Cristina Ryan says her home security camera captured the strange footage one morning last week. She said she and others believe it is a baby dinosaur because it appears to be running on two hind legs and has a long, thick tail, similar to those pesky velociraptors in Jurassic Park.
Talking to Fox 35 News, Ryan said, “Any animal we can come up with that would be ‘walking’ at 3:40 in the morning, wouldn’t walk this way.“
“Maybe I’ve watched ‘Jurassic Park’ too many times, but I see a raptor or other small dinosaur!”
Ryan isn’t the only one who feels it looks like a small dinosaur.
She claims that everyone to whom she has shown the video has reached the same conclusion.
Ryan said, “Some say a large bird, but that makes no sense – since whatever it appears to have front legs. So not sure? Lol. I’m sticking with raptor myself.”
Many social media users have been left scratching their heads after Fox35 News posted the mysterious video online, but some people have their theories.
While some agreed that it did look like a velociraptor, others suggested it may have been a ‘dog with a costume on‘, a ‘peacock‘, a ‘gator‘, an ‘animal with a bucket stuck on its head‘, an ‘emu‘ or a ‘sandhill crane‘.
One wrote, “Unless Fred Flintstone lost control of Dino, that’s someone’s pet on a leash,” and another social media user agreed and said: “That’s a dog. Hope someone finds it. Dragging a leash is very dangerous for it.“
A third added: “A dog with a leash and something reflective on – raincoat? Our dog has a raincoat and he would look like that from above.”
Others, however, were unconvinced by all of the wild theories about dogs and leashes, with one undoubtedly stating, “It’s clearly a raptor.”
Someone else added, “Jurassic World is for real!!!!”
Well, we leave it to you to decide whether it’s a baby dinosaur or a dog on a leash.
