Used tea bags, huh? We usually throw them in the bin as soon as we are done with our teas but Ruby Silvious repurposes them. She converts them into a mini canvas and paints the most beautiful pictures.

She began her 363 Days of Tea project in 2015—a personal challenge to create art daily by repurposing her used tea bags. The teabags are sometimes ripped to remove the leaves or are strung together. And over the years, she has created an extensive body of work.

Silvious’s tea bags depict the quiet, unassuming moments of everyday life: Passersby trudge through the snow, beautiful sunsets, masks hanging, and just nature on the naturally dyed backdrops.
