It’s been a while since the super-popular TV Show, The Simpsons have accurately predicted quite a few world events. It’s amazing how the show’s writers think of the possibilities and incorporate them into the script. Looks like they have done it again!
On 6th January 2021, President Trump’s supporters stormed and invaded the Washington US Capitol in a violent siege that horrified people all across the globe.
The videos that broke the internet show near-apocalyptic scenes and a dystopian reality unfold on the world wide web.
But something stranger was discovered by users on Twitter when they realised that The Simpsons, like they have done before, had actually predicted the events that unfolded on 6th of January 2021.
Twitter user Sakib pointed out that The Simpsons spoke about a potential civil war in the USA in S32, E4 which aired on November 1, 2020.

It definitely has become a thing about The Simpsons predicting a lot of things happening in the world, but it still did shock quite a few users.
While most of the users spoke about how surprised they were to find this out, a twitter user Dicken Schrader thought this was no surprise and a lot of us could see it coming.
