Prince Philip, Duke Of Edinburgh, Queen Elizabeth II’s husband, has passed away at the of 99, Buckingham Palace has announced.
Buckingham Palace said: “It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.”
Duke of Edinburgh & Queen Elizabeth II’s love for each other has been considered as relationship goals. The 94-year-old monarch had once described him as her “strength and stay all these years“.

Philip spent a month in hospital earlier this year before returning to Windsor castle. Announcing his passing, BBC television played the national anthem. He was the longest-serving consort in British history and was sadly, only months away from his 100th birthday this June.
