Getty Images owns most of the photos of the protests at the US capitol, and since then the term “via Getty” has been quite a constant all over the Internet. Some people thought that “Via Getty” is the name of an actual protestor, which is only leaving many in splits.
Before we start judging Ryan Lizza, remember that he added punctuation to make sure he was crediting to Getty Images! But some people thought that it was the name of the protester stealing a “podium”.
