The Spanish man was attempting to uncork the bottle with some pomp, before it slipped out of his hands and smashed on the floor. Alas!

That award for the highest-ranked tab goes to a 23-year-old chap from Liverpool, who spent around $242,000 in one night at a club in the city. This bill included a mighty purchase of a 30-litre bottle of Armand de Brignac Champagne which cost around £125,000. Ooooff! Talk about an expensive drink!
