A hotel in Hangzhou, China lets you bathe in food. Yes, you heard that right. As a plan for the Lunar New Year promotion, the hotel has converted one of its hot spring pools into a Spicy Hot-Pot-Spring.
Guests can jump into the steaming human hot pot and live their ultimate foodie dream. Dippers can dine and dip while they soak.
Hangzhou’s First World Hotel is home to the rectangular hot spring, which is divided into compartments, each filled with produce such as limes, chilies, lettuce, apples, and bananas.
You can see photos of guests munching on kebab skewers running the length of the pool — and packed with meat and veg. We are hoping the hot spot has quite a remarkable drainage system!
Hangzhou is filled with mountain-fed hot springs which have made it a popular weekend destination, given it’s just a two-hour drive from Shanghai. The hotel says it aims to promote a healthy lifestyle in the run-up to the Lunar New Year, or spring festival, which begins the first week of February.
