We all know how China does things faintly different from the rest of the world. And showing us the same difference in a humorous way is the mission of the comic artist Siyu.
Siyu, who was born and raised in Beijing has spent the last ten years, traveling, studying, and working in the US, UK, and France. Throughout her travel, she has crossed paths with people who were curious about the Chinese culture and how it is different from the west. These became an inspiration for her to start the series Tiny Eyes, where she brings out the cultural differences through simple line drawings, with a pinch of humor.
Her comics focus on the likes of food, family tie, and assumptions we make about one another.

Along with differences, her comics allow us to understand the culture of China too.
