You may know him as the tough action hero but after reading Bruce Willis’ love story, you’ll realize that he’s certainly a die-hard romantic. To those who don’t think they will ever be able to find their soulmate, Bruce found his when he was almost 60!
And right now, he is living his ‘happily ever after’ fairytale.
Yes, he was married to Demi Moore and had a good family life but something wasn’t right. Something was missing. And after his divorce, the actor stopped believing in love. In fact, he thought being on his own was no big deal. Until he met Emma. It was then that he realized that he had been miserable before her.
He revealed that single life was tough on him: “I spent the last 10 years single and, for the most part, unhappy. In a dark place. I never thought that being with someone else was the answer. I would say, ‘I’m alone, but I’m not lonely.’ But I was just kidding myself.”
“Then I started hanging around Emma, and on a day-to-day basis my life became much happier.”

Willis admitted he wasn’t particularly looking for love but that changed after his first date with her.
“I went from ‘F*** love’ to ‘Love is truly the answer,’” Willis told W magazine.
He later said, “We went on one date, on Friday before Emma was getting ready to move back to New York, and then we fell mad crazy in love. When you think about where are you going to find that big love of your life, you seldom think it’s someone you already know. You think it’s someone you’re yet to meet.”
And their romance blossomed after just one date, according to the “Die Hard” star. By 2009, Willis married Heming and they embarked on their journey as soulmates.
“I hear so many people in relationships say, ‘I just need a couple of days away, or even an hour away. But I don’t want to be away from Emma at all. It’s the most singular relationship I’ve ever had in my life.”
Soon, Emma and Bruce Willis welcomed their 2 daughters Mabel and Evelyn. Suddenly, the actor was surrounded by 5 beautiful daughters (three from the previous marriage), who completed his life.
They were so much in love with each other that they decided to marry again and renew their vows on their 10th anniversary. What made it even more special was having their daughters there. “It was so much fun having our two young daughters there,” Emma, 40, told Us Weekly.
As for Emma, she also feels blessed to share a life with him: “…We still have a date night once a week! We always try and make time for each other. My husband is super supportive — we are a good match for each other.”
