In 2020, the internet was taken by storm by yet another creative tred. It was known as the Getty Museum Challenge. This challenge encouraged people from across the globe to recreate artworks using home tools and materials. Note that it was around the time when much of the world was in lockdown due to COVID-19. Artist Eliza Reinhardt also took part in the challenge with her dog Finn… and well, they never really stopped ever since. For almost a year, the dynamic duo has been recreating famous artworks. Each result is more magnificent and quirky than the previous one.
Each morning Reinhardt decides on the painting that she and her dog Finn will recreate with a unique twist, on that day. This is followed by her going through her ever-growing collection of props to arrange it in an orderly manner to capture the essence of the chosen work. Her dog Finn plays a rather integral part in each photo.
