A woman from Krakow called The Krakow Animal Welfare Society to report a dangerous lizard-like creature prowling through a tree for two days.
She was reported saying: “It’s been sitting in a tree across the house for two days! People aren’t opening their windows because they’re afraid it’s going to their house. It’s brown, it’s sitting in a tree.“

The Animal Welfare Society posted the incident on Facebook and said that the staff asked the woman that it could be a bird of prey, but the woman described the mysterious creature as resembling an iguana.
But after the animal welfare society visited the area, it became known that the mysterious creature was just a croissant.
The organization said it hoped the incident would not deter others from reporting concerns about animal welfare, pointing out that they had received calls concerning abandoned cats and dogs and even fish.
